I’ve played both, granted I stopped playing valorant after 2 games because it’s fucking boring (for reference I stomped both games with +30 kills and a handful of deaths, dicking around with every gun) so this could have changed since then. You would be hard pressed to find a single character ability that doesn’t already exist in CS or LoL.

That isn’t even approaching the Overwatch comparisons.
