  You mean to say:

  "Wer nichts zu verbergen hat, hat auch nichts zu befürchten"

  “If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.”

  How quick we are to adopt the logical fallacy of Joseph Goebbels when we want to protect our creature comforts, rather than our privacy.
