Maybe give the option then, default to crunching. But I like the card system in Alexandrite & lemmy, that auto expands the post. I enrolled here because I enjoy my instance’s «Local» posts, so I would be wasting (2 Bw Post ×) for the local feed if I expanded every post.

For «All», sure I can see the (subs clients posts Bw ×) savings.s, but not «local.»
