NocturnalMorning@lemmy.world 2 days agoInfinite population is not possible with finite resources. Unless you are talking about spreading out into the stars, in which case, I think you have watched too much optimize for humans. We have shown repeatedly that all we want to do is destroy stuff.

If we solve zero point energy, we don’t have finite resources but rather infinite resources but yes spreading out into the stars would eventually result in different problems but that is the human cycle. Each solution to current problems creates the next set of problems to solve.

What the fuck are you even talking about? Is zero point energy some sci-fi buzz word you heard? Thats a real piece of terminology in quantum physics, but it surely doesn’t mean what you think it means. Bcz if you understood it, you wouldn’t be spouting off nonsense. And just for the record, I have an aerospace degree, so I took a bunch of physics classes in college, and I work on satellite stuff right now. I can assure you, what you are saying is hogwash. Not even sure why im spending time refuting what you have to say.
