Not that much, in the EU they had color meanings and decorations, and in KorOR armor color meant position in hierarchy and merit, but other than that - pretty similar armor sets.
It’s a bit like with usual clothes. Faces are still not visible. Finding a Mandalorian in red armor with a decoration of knotted rope on the left side of their helmet and with a backpack and such and such bag is not as easy as just match a face in the database.
