ALSO The North Star is actually three stars! The big one is 5.4 solar masses and 'uuge, a smaller one (1.39) is where our Jupiter is, and there’s another one (1.26) waay out there, like 80 times farther than Neptune. All that ~400 light years away from us.
Got funny names too, because in 18th century they discovered the existence of the outer one and called them Polaris A and Polaris B. Only to realize 150 years later “oh crap Polaris A is also two stars, gotta call them AA and AB now”
