ALSO The North Star is actually three stars!
The big one is 5.4 solar masses and 'uuge, a smaller one (1.39) is where our Jupiter is, and there’s another one (1.26) waay out there, like 80 times farther than Neptune. All that ~400 light years away from us.
Got funny names too, because in 18th century they discovered the existence of the outer one and called them Polaris A and Polaris B. Only to realize 150 years later “oh crap Polaris A is also two stars, gotta call them AA and AB now”
there are sea slugs who absorb chloroplast from plants and use it to photosynthesize (convert sunlight into nutrients), it’s called “kleptoplasty” how friggin cool is that
