Comment on [How to] Debug Clicks, Snaps and OS components on an Ubuntu Touch device

sorry if I missed something in your post, how about displaying QT objects ? the accepted way seems to use Python prettyfiers, so I tried to add them in a gdbinit file, however when trying to load them your snap spits out:
phablet@ubuntu-phablet:/opt/click.ubuntu.com/lomiri-settings/current$ gdb lomiri-system-settings

Scripting in the "Python" language is not supported in this copy of GDB.
is there something I am missing ? or is displaying QT variables not possible with this tool ? I the answer is yes, could Python scripting be added to the snap ?
Note that debugging works - I can setup a breakpoint and gdb breaks at the desired line. The problem is that I can only display native c++ variable values, not QT objects.
@gpatel-fr Python support is certainly something I could take a look at, but not promise right now off the top.
