Comment on Fps drops to single digits on Legion 5 Laptop
Patariki@feddit.nl 9 months agoI did install this mod today, and although my average fps went up to about 35/40 fps, i still get those massive framedrops. They only last about 5 seconds, but its getting quite annoying. I did some searching before I posted here and all i could find was “install on ssd”, and both my drives are ssd so i doubt that’s the issue.

This still sounds like a VRAM limitation. Do you have a way to monitor VRAM, like having FRAPS installed.

No, as another user suggested it was my CPU overheating, which i have fixed and haven’t had any problems since. and I don’t know why it says 2gb on the videocard, it is a 6gb card. I double-checked before posting.
