rozodru@lemmy.world 5 days agohonestly the only ones I picked up this year are the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy and Jurassic World Evolution 2. that’s it.
I don’t think it’s a matter of the sale is meh but most of the stuff with deep discounts is always on sale with previous sales and thus I already picked that stuff up. You’ll constantly see the same games over and over with each sale and when you participate in each sale that number of games to get great deals on becomes less and less.

Indeed. I think if you know about the other storefronts and isthereanydeal you don’t get a wrapped about steam summer sale. There’s usually some new ATLs that push newer/bigger game prices down a bit further than usual though.
