On one hand, it’s reasonable for Americans to be upset with their taxes because they pay so much and get so little back in return. On the other hand, you never see these people complaining about how so much their taxes go to corporate handouts instead of useful things like socialized health care, child care, housing, etc. instead it becomes all about them personally. It’s very telling. The US is a land of mentally ill sycophants.
