zikzak025@lemmy.world 18 hours agoI think Big O was fairly political, the city government is basically a midcentury take on corpo-fascism. The corporation controlling the city is the primary antagonist and its leader has a god complex.

Yeah, incredibly political. Particularly if you enjoy the slapdash ending they had to adlib after their intended open, Chinatown style ending.

They setup a hotline after the finally where you could call and have the ending explained to you.
