I played Morrowind and it became my favourite game, not just my favourite Elder Scrolls.

Then I played Oblivion, and it was Oblivion.

Then I played Skyrim, and now it is Skyrim.

Hopefully I’ll play Elder Scroll 6 in a few years, and hopefully (but not expected at this point) it will be my favourite.

Though, if Morrowind get updated to today’s standard, I think that was the best of them all, at least in sheer freedom that it gave you. Or it could just be my nostalgia, haven’t played it in decades.
