Here is what i don’t get: what’s the point of even doing a bond game? Why would you restrict yourself to a franchise that the target audience don’t even care about? They can’t make a spy game that is fun to play? They can’t come up with a name for the protagonist?

…because the people who make bond want one and it has a lot of name recognition. Are there many spy games doing well on a mass market level?

  Splinter Cell back in the day, and Hitman in the current day are both very famous games.

    Aye splinter cell is out of the market nowadays, and the success of Hitman is what got the 007 brand to get IOI to do this.
    
    I would probbaly enjoy cyberpunk but I dont really like fps.

    Try out cyberpunk, really. It’s imho one of the top 5 RPGs ever made, besides Mass Effect series and a Kingdom Come
