The opening scene was intense, they manage to fit so much into it. I kept thinking of a certain other anime that had long recaps recently as a great contrast.

Poor guys who helped expose all the wrongdoings and got no voice lines, except one who was only credited as “Pyrz’s son”.

And we had a whole episode of the great and emotional saving of Girtonia, only for the trash ex-prince to ruin it at the last minute. We knew he was going to do it, it was foreshadowed, and he did it, he broke the seal. You knew it was bad when you heard the demon lord said “well done”.

We have maybe 2 episodes left and it’ll be great to see how this concludes.
