I was surprised to see that too, as i don’t remember that from our previous defed discussions. Maybe I missed it. Since they’re just default, must not have been implemented when out accounts were created

Out of curiosity, is there a way to see the communities included in the default blocks? I must have registered here before those were introduced, as I don’t have them.

I like that it’s done that way rather than by defederating, as it lets each user decide, as opposed to someone having decided for them with no way to change that.

Yeah I agree, I didn’t know that was an option but it’s a fine compromise. I don’t usually like “default enabled”, opt-outs, though when Facebook or Microsoft do it they’re not transparent like this. Usually the vast majority of software users never even review the default settings but Lemmy might be different due to its user base

Ohh, that’s what it is. i had that two blocked and many more community before i migrate my account so am a bit unclear what it is.
