Huge steps forward here; going out shopping, meeting another acquaintance, cooking for herself. Back when I was in grad school, I used to do a lot of frozen meals because of a pretty extreme and unpredictable schedule. Transitioning from that to a healthier diet and better sleep schedule made a huge difference in my general health.

These days, I totally relate to her that cooking after work is usually just too much:

However, I do usually just make a big batch of something on Sunday and eat it the rest of the week. It also helps with matching portions for recipes since most recipes that you find are usually 4-6 servings or so. If I was just cooking for my wife and I each night, it would be annoying to constantly be scaling down recipes.
