There’s a war going on, but not all wars are genocide.
If Hamas surrendered today, the war would be over and the killing would stop, at which point no one could argue that it’s a genocide.
A genocide requires intent to destroy a particular national or ethnic group. It’s not a genocide just because a lot of a group of people are killed in a war.

Why isn’t Palestine a hole in the ground right now?

All the Jews weren’t conveniently in one tiny little place surrounded by walls though. Palestinians are.
This isn’t the ironclad argument you think it is.
It definitely is. If all the jews in the world were in Germany, the Nazis would have killed them all quick smart. Israel has Palestine right there, wiped off the face of the earth within an hour if they want to. They don’t though. Why do you think that is?

Lack of German efficiency.

The Fatah agreed to give up armed struggle in exchange for self determination
Spoiler alert, they got area C, checkpoints and settlers attacks instead

They’ve let food and aid through many times. Their intent is eliminate Hamas. If they wanted to eliminate Palestine it would already be eliminated and the war would be over because Palestine would be a giant crater.

What are you going to argue after Palestine is eliminated?
