Stovetop@lemmy.world 2 weeks agoYep. I’ve got this fantasy that someday everyone in Israel gets equal rights and they rename the country Canaan or something to highlight the shared origins of the people in the region, but I feel like that’s as likely as me being able to afford retirement someday.

Not wholly, as if there was any proof then US funding would have to cease. The first official acknowledgment came in 2023.
