The absolutely ridiculous episode titles kill me. I also love that the MC is completely oblivious but self-aware. MCs that are too obtuse can be annoying, but he manages to thread the line and remain endearing.
The Beast Fangs are comically evil though. Like “oh no, we fired the enchanter and our decision had consequences… lets make an example of the enchanter!”
And I love Lily’s backstory. It’s reasonable without it being contrived.
That being said, despite it giving off very comfy vibes, the gore was a little nuts. Not quite Madoka Magica levels of “WTF” but definitely a little out of place, but not in a bad way.

I feel like Rein has to himself be comically obtuse in order to justify having supported such an evil guild. Is it possible to not be complicit in the kinds of evil things they did by never leaving their guild hall?
Did it occur to no one at his ex-guild that he might cancel his enchantments? Why would they not have killed him instead of kicking him out? So much of this show doesn’t make sense.
Also I felt somewhat appalled that he had no idea how his enchantment worked and that it was a huge surprise to him that his overpowered equipment turned to dust. Did no one in his guild have their equipment turn to dust?
Probably these things are all very minor nitpicks.
The animation is really good, though.

Yeah, the guild is comically evil. Not just “we’re kind of bullies” or “there are a few bad apples” but “All 500+ members are completely irredeemable.”
I’m guessing they thought he was doing normal enchanting, not “putting points into items” which apparently is the OP cheat skill.
The intro was basically “fire people for the lolz” so it wasn’t exactly dripping with logic.
I mean, he was stuck inside the entire time. And he was enchanting other people’s gear with a half-dozen points at most so their items weren’t going to crumble after two swings.
The whole anime is a completely absurd premise with obtuse logic, but I’m hoping they actually make it pay off without it becoming generic nonsense.

The premise is basically “kicked out of the villain party” except it’s a whole ass guild with 500+ members. I would rather they just forget that entire premise until the last two or three episodes when the structure of the arc requires the big send off with the requisite fireworks.
I have a theory that “kicked out of a party” premises are recession indicators, just like vampire premises, so maybe someone will innovate and give us the first “kicked out of the vampire guild” premise at some point.
