It's been proven that we remember it. When vaccines were new in the 50s, it was noticed that only some of the boys and none of the girls freaked out at the white coats. The difference was who had been chopped.

Do you have a clitoris? Imagine if, at birth, someone had sliced off (without anesthesia!) all your vulva and labia. Imagine if someone had removed all the protective tissue around your clit, and left it to dry out and rub against your panties for the rest of your life. How sensitive you think it would be?

It's not cool that men's first sexual experience is being overpowered, strapped to a board, and having one of the most sensitive parts of their bodies chopped off. It really does contribute to rape culture. It makes rape seem like a minor thing. The analogue to what I endured is, roughly speaking, sticking a treble hook up ya and ripping it all out. Compared to that, an unwanted dick doesn't seem like much.

Circumcision drives rape culture. You can have rape culture without it, but it's a giant piece of it.

Stop cutting on our little boys.
