@Uair @ReadingTheDots @bookstodon ok that was wildly uncalled for to the point of you acting disgusting. Your personal trauma is not something you need to dump on strangers at every chance you get, especially in treating someone like an enemy who literally just said they were standing against body modifications on children without medical reason.

Your focus on surgical horror is yours. Deal with it appropriately.

@pussreboots @bookstodon thank you- I will look at them. I was looking at neocities but I'm not sure that's the right fit.

@Uair @ReadingTheDots @bookstodon I didn't know if it will change adult behavior which is shaped by many factors, but I am firmly in the camp that children's bodies should not be modified by adults for cosmetic or religious purposes. Medical decisions may be necessary, but that's a different category.

@RanaldClouston @bookstodon I remember reading this years ago and loving it! The series wasn't done then and I never did get to the last book.

@pussreboots @bookstodon got it 😁

...if it's not too nosy, what's your blog hosting solution? I am trying to start(restart) my blog after many years.

@pussreboots @bookstodon ok looking at your log, how do I find your other 5 star reviews? Like I need more stuff on my list, but hey.

@pussreboots @bookstodon that is one deeply creepy book. Loved it.

@lydiaschoch @bookstodon I think it varies by school, honestly.
