Alright, you have my curiosity. Just from the first chapter, it is almost too easy to make comparisons to A Song of Ice and Fire, but I think that there are likely common sources of inspiration for both series to be found in Jötunn.

One thing I wanted to compliment the series on is Alajoki. I am so used to fantasy settings in manga/anime having their female warriors in something like bikini armor or boob plate, that I just didn’t even register Alajoki as a woman until page 20. So, I really appreciate that she is a warrior first and not just eye candy for the reader.

I have subbed to the new community and will be keeping an eye on this one.
