safety razor isn’t even slightly comparable and scissors… that’d take me like half an hour to properly trim my beard and it’d probably be patchy and uneven… i prefer the 5min it takes me now and i’ll pay for it thanks
Comment on Philips debuts 3D printable components to repair products
Therobohour@lemmy.world 3 weeks agoEr…are scissors not a thing in your country? Look I understand why you think that I also swallowed the Phillips coolaid, but they’re lying to you man. Men have had beard and mustache for a long long long time before eletric razors. So I’ll ask a favour of you,try the safety razor/ scissors for a month. Then come bad and tell me I’m wrong. Don’t buy into the disposal plastic propaganda, get a real razor,it’s cheaper, nicer and better shave.

you clearly don’t have a beard mate… i use 3 tools to trim my facial hair, and 1 of them is a safety razor… it is not an all-purpose tool: it does exactly 1 thing, and only 1 thing

In what world is a pair of scissors even remotely comparable to a razor!?
Have you ever tried trimming a beard with a pair of scissors? It’s ridiculously hard to do well yourself (I’ve tried). It’ll look like shit and take ten times as long as a good electric trimmer (which will also last you many years)
