  Oh that’s easy: I don’t care!
  I don’t associate with the ideology .ml is usually associated with, I just think it’s nice to experience the development of Lemmy from a front-row seat. And by my experience people like me are, if not the majority, still a huge percentage of .ml users

  You, on the other hand, seem way more affected by the tag that I could ever be, even embarassing yourself with these dumb comments, just because a developer of a social network has political beliefs that you happen to be.

  Also, as I already said on multile occasions, FOSS is literally communism applied to software. You cannot be against one and take benefits from the other.

    Lots of the criticism of the .ml admins isn’t for being communists, it’s for promoting fascism as long as it wears a red hat. Some of the strongest critics are out and proud communists, but who have the sensible opinion that doing what Stalin did and what Putin is doing are not ethical or effective ways to build communism.

      givesome, I’m really disappointed with you in this comment section. Ban me if you want, but you really are embarrassing yourself here, not only with your dumb comments, but now threatening to ban someone for calling you out. It seems like you made this post just to get in a bunch of fights with users, only to threaten to ban them when they push back? Like cmon dude. Really, really not cool.

        I mean, it’s weird I stopped responding to you five hours ago, but you apparently saw that immediately and felt the need to comment on it. It’s not like this thread is even still active.

        Nothing you said was uncivil, but if I wanted to keep discussing this with you. I wouldnt have stopped replying to you five hours ago.

      If you read my comment once again, I did not call you dumb. I don’t know you personally, you might as well be a “decent human being”.
      In fact I called your comments dumb because they are totally out of context, since posting a developer asking for donations in a group about dystopian news is at best a far, far stretch.
      At worst complete bullshit. So you can either be offended because I said the word “dumb” or understand I’m trying to put things in perspective, which is, in my opinion, what a “decent human being” would do.
      So go ahead and flag me if you want, I’m calling your bluff
