One of gold’s amazing properties is that it doesn’t chemically react to almost anything. It doesn’t oxidize, is almost impossible to corrode, and doesn’t get eaten away by most acids, including stomach acid.

Yeah unless your stomach is producing aqua regia that gold’s coming out the exact same way it went in.
