winety@lemmy.zip 1 day agoHonest question: Why would you want a remake/remaster when the original can be played almost anywhere thanks to emulators? Is it just the legal acquisition of the game, or would you want to see some improvements to the game?

I’m pretty ambivalent, I’ve been pirating it every few years since the 90s. But it would be nice to see younger kids get excited about it.
