I use firefox bookmarks with nextcloud bookmarks and floccus addon to sync them. you can choose a custom folder to syn as "Read Later" and tags are supported both in the nextcloud app and firefox bookmarks. And there is an android app for bookmarks too. I think this workflow should work as per your requirements
