If you’re pissing someone off some place enough to get banned, it’s probably not the best place for you and best to leave them to their echo chamber. If you go wild, you can stand up your own instance and ban any instances you don’t like.
If someone wants to make a safe-space echo-chamber, they can totally do it.

I know how this works. It’s still a ridiculous echo chamber and I stumbled into a meme community on that instance and didn’t know it and started to discuss Communism. They were very adamant on their stance, despite showing them contradicting evidence. Only then I noticed I was on Lemmy.ml, lol. Shortly after, I was banned.
Tankies suffer from similar delusions as Nazis do. They seem to be smarter however.

I don’t care to argue politics with them, but outside of that subject, a lot of the .ml crowd have useful and helpful responses to other ares.
We all suffer from limited worldview. I’m not sure any of us do a particularly great job of seeing things from others perspectives.
