Look, if OPs screw is best screwed in with a philips screwdriver, I won’t suggest a hammer, just cause we’re in the hammer sublemmy.
But yeah, there are self hostable solutions, just a lot harder to setup with the only benefit of not sharing your plant and garden data with google.
