@bookstodon I have read 63% of "The Nuremberg Trial." I find it striking that in one way or another, each of the accused uses some form of ... I was just following orders ... as a justification for murdering millions. A few did seem to take some small degree of responsibility. I suppose this is the usual justification in genocide. It's no different with genocides, before or since. SMH!

@bookstodon @Bruce "The Nuremberg Interviews" was also a good read. I remember you recommended it to me, and I read it. "The Nuremberg Trial" is a full account of the trial, beginning before the trial, in its organizational stage, and continuing through to the end. It is very detailed.
