Man, that demo that cut out shortly before the first RTS section was pure fucking bait and switch. Maybe even more so than Metal Gear Solid 2.

It was literally just the Tanker part at the beginning. But they tried really hard to make you think you were gonna be Snake and instead we got Raiden.

I got used to Raiden during my MGS2 playthrough, since he still plays similarly to Snake. Brütal Legend was more drastic with a complete change in genre.
