Comment on France to ban students from keeping smartphones in schools
cyborganism@lemmy.ca 1 week agoI think what they’re implying is that this kind of thing doesn’t really happen in France. At least not at the rate it’s happening in the U.S. So they don’t really need to worry about not having cell phones.
To an extent it’s the same with Canada. We’re pretty lucky school shootings aren’t a common occurrence. What’s the worst that can happen here? The school runs out of maple syrup? (Of course I’m joking!)
