I pointed out that propaganda is present not only in China, but in the US as well. I tried to expand the argument, not talk about something else. At least that was my intention.

So let’s say sea levels are on the rise everywhere, right? And then let’s say a journalist says “something strange is going on in the Indian Ocean, it’s rising”, yeah? And they never once mention anything about any other oceans. Would that be appropriate journalism? If someone says “Hey, all oceans are rising” are you gonna say “that’s whataboutery”?
No, you’re not. So when propaganda is on the rise globally, with the USA and Europe leading the pack as they have been for several hundred years, and someone writes an article about Chinese propaganda being on the rise, and they work for one of the propaganda outlets of an enemy of China, do you think that would appropriate journalism?
