Yeah I’m a huge fan of the rechargeable lithium AAs but they do just die pretty much immediately since the power curve just falls off. But they last a long while and charge nicely.
Yeah, it’s because of the buck circuit regulating them down to 1.5v. No warning, they just die because the safety cutoff turns off the circuit when the lithium voltage drops too much. I can live with it though.
