blue_morpho@lemmy.world@lemmy.world 1 week agoI did that and it works well. The only problem is that when the battery goes to 0 on a long outage, the UPS can’t recharge it. I had to pull the battery, charge it with a lifepo4 charger, then reinstall.
Short outages are fine.
Probably best to use NUT to shut down the servers gracefully if the power outage is too long.
