I’m wondering if immich supports reading an existing file structure, so you could maintain the file system and mount it in both immich and next cloud or whatever else?

I use it and it works great for me. My use case is I have several users which backup our mobile phones into Immich. Then I created an additional “user” that is more like a service account. Under this extra account I have it set to scan an external path which I a drive where we upload everything from a DSLR camera. Then I share this users library with my main account do I can browse out DSLR images while on the go through Immich.
