I’m trying to come up with the words for my feelings on this, but I guess I’m glad this exists simply for the reason that it does exist 🤣

have you seen the animated Lower Decks series? I love it.
but yeah, a lot for newer star trek stuff I don’t think was written by people intending to follow the series
- Comment on Was there censorship on TikTok after the U.S. takeover? 3 weeks ago:
I’ve seen people on news and other places saying that they can’t send texts with the word “Epstein,” there was also censorship around Israel and ICE videos as well
- Comment on Fediverse Instances for Digital Nomads and Travelers 1 month ago:
they would be welcome to have a post there!
But for promotion, one of the biggest issues I’ve had while traveling is the online presence. They should have a Google maps entry with the keywords that they want, their website should mention it, as well as their SEO entries.
I’d recommend them have keywords like cowork, nomad, digital nomad, retreat, health and wellness, etc. There are definitely people looking for that vibe when they travel!
A good place to recommend them would be https://piefed.keyboardvagabond.com/c/coworking_locations
Be sure to include the location and a summary as well to best help them get found, both in piefed and also on search engines ☺️

they used to have travelling entertainment groups and for a fee you could take a peek at women’s panties. nNot ON a woman, just a hanging pair of panties behind a curtain.

- Comment on Need some help with remote access please. 2 months ago:
you already have a cloud flare tunnel, so you can add a new entry for a domain and point it to another service. cloud flare handles the encryption. for docker, I have my reverse proxy on port 80 doing the routing and the docker route is http://localhost:80

I appreciate the thought and story telling here 😂
- Comment on New(ish) to self-hosting. Question about reverse proxy setup 3 months ago:
that’s quite a long compose file.
the way that I use cloud flare is with tunnels since my ISP blocks my ports. I have cloudflared running that connects to the cloudflare tunnel, which has a map of domain name to a service name, which is how services are accessed externally.
tailscale connects to tail scales main service and that’s how I access internal systems. at least that’s how I’m running it.
- Comment on New(ish) to self-hosting. Question about reverse proxy setup 3 months ago:
tailscale is a vpn. you don’t need cloudflare for it. you do need to set up the tail scale container with your credentials from tail scale, which they have guides for. after that, log in on your machine and click the connect toggle and you’re in.
the exit node is if you want to look like you’re at your host computer.

oh that’s rough. it took me a lot of learning for that stuff too. I missed Gale because the game said the portal was unstable and have me the option to use it, so I looked around and couldn’t find anything portal related and then it disappeared

- Comment on Whatever happened to pickup artists? Did they evolve into alpha males or ascend to a higher plane? 3 months ago:
I know a few guys and even a dating coach who did that when it came around. The common thing that they said was that they didn’t like how they felt doing it. They also noticed that at the end of the techniques, there was just you, and you would get found out.
Now the common trend is for authenticity and openness/vulnerability. In addition to approaching and that sort of stuff, it’s less about learning a technique and more about the other positive things.
