If only parents could monitor their teens use of technology. Oh wait they can and should. Funny all the small government people shouting about showing and verifying government ids and won’t someone think of the children.

  Unless you build trust with the kid. So that if the child is having disturbing thoughts, you’d be the first person they’d find unconditional help from, and that in really bad cases - you’d help arranging professional therapy for them.

  Sad facts. Your parents knew they just hated you and didn’t give a fuck.
  
  If you’re a parent and you don’t have the time or technology to monitor your children who you choose to spawn they should be removed.
  
  Dude remember how we stopped the meth use and distribution by requiring people to show government id at the pharmacy for cold medicine?
  
  Remember how kids never see graphic violence or sex on TV and movies because you have to show id to get rated R content?
  
  How about requiring an ID provings you have completed a parenting and child raising program?

    Tell me you’re not a parent without telling me you’re not a parent.
    
    I WANT to live in the fantasy world you’re describing. But literally no one could have both kids and a job and be able to do what you say.
    
    And no, I don’t remember not seeing violence on TV. I grew up in the 80s.
