If Russia were careful to avoid breaking treaties and laws, then sure people could procedurally bullshit all they like, but Russia broke away from all of that already. If they’re not bound by anytime they aren’t protected by anything.

This is fucking stupid, and implies Macron is compromised. Russia broke international law when they invaded a country and murdered hundreds of thousands of people, including their own citizens. They’ve just installed a puppet regime in the US ffs. Fuck em. Play dirty. You can’t send the UN to Moscow to arrest Putin, so fuckin assassinate him. Kill every psychopath in his inner circle. You don’t succeed in a criminal organisation without being a criminal. None of them are innocent.
The EU doesn’t have to abandon all morality and kill civilians or torture people. We’re talking about the assets owned by Putin’s crime syndicate, and fellow megalomaniacs.

I’m not saying he’s not, but breaking the law is breaking the law. They’ve been put in place for a reason.
Personally, I don’t have an issue with the seizure of Russian assets, but it sets a bad example to make a law and then break it yourself. At that point, why have the law? They could probably get rid of it if it’s a legitimate impediment to what they want to do.
