There are several mammoths (instances) peacefully grazing on the same pastures (the social web), but the pastures are also shared with other animals entirely. Perhaps they are single-user instances as no birds are landing on them; perhaps they are completely different pieces of the social web, such as Peertube or Lemmy.
I had to look up what those animals are, because i thought maybe their name is just the same as some other fediverse project. I looked for something like “two nosed white horned hooved mammal” and i did find it lol
