I have self hosted HZ, addedd the feed as contact, but I cannot use the feed as channel source. Do you have any idea why?
Next step would be being able to federato towards mastondon. Is it doable?
That would be my final aim: to have a read only channel that is populated via rss and reachable also from others (Friendica, Mastodon...)
To federate with activitypub you must enable the addon as admin -> pubcrawl. Then install the activitypub app for the channels you want federate.
Thansk for the support! Activitypub interaction seem to work as expected. I was able to connect with a mastodon account and the amstodon accoun is connected too. We exchanged messages.
?ive successfully added the RSS feed as contact, but cannot add it as source of the channel.
Permissions seem ok:

so type the first letters of the channel you want to add and than pick the suggested entry Hubzilla shows you by hover and a click ...
that is the trick to know
