Probably because they didn’t want to rewrite the physics that are based in 30fps max. Lazy port.

But on the PC Version we don’t have a frame cap. My guess would be, that fixed 30fps feel better than a fluctuation between 25 and 40.

They didn’t need to. The Xbox 360 version can run at 60 FPS in an emulator with a really simple patch
