mcforest@feddit.org 1 week agoI’m excited. But it will be Siege of Dragonspear first, although opinions on it seem to be mixed.
Dragonspear made by Beamdog, not the original creators. Beamdog have done a lot of good things when it comes to QoL, bug fixing and compatibility in the Enhanced Editions that helped bring these games to a new audience.
One thing they didn’t do good at, however, was writing.

Yeah. Dragonspear doesn’t hold a candle to candlekeep. Linear and lacking character.
