That is quite funny 🙂
Come to think of it, maybe it’s not that funny: if it stays down, a lot of the crazies who call it home it will open account this side of the hexbear defederation, and that’s not a happy thought…
This is true, definitely not a very happy thought.
As an aside, it looks like they have a back-up domain, the drama here is hilarious: chapo.chat
Thank goodness!
They’re still poached though, all federation points to hexbear.net, domains are pretty central to Lemmy.
It will be interesting to see how they get out of this one.
