(The kids were mean to him in regular public school, but he immediately blossomed at the new school, where people who looked just like him were there.)

@QueenOfTheCroneAge @bookstodon It broke my heart when he developed such an attachment to Franklin in the Peanuts holiday specials, not just because he could see himself reflected, but because he knew that Franklin would need a friend. And he wanted to be that friend.
He's a remarkable soul. Never known anyone like him. He will do great things.
