  Neither. Both. Turkish ultranationalists expressed opinion about releasing Ocalan in return of his denouncement and will of disbandment of PKK.

  In the meantime Turkish-backed rebels in Syria (not rebels anymore though) started a new fight with Syrian Kurdish YPG (Urban PKK backed by USA) and YPG is losing ground daily now.

  (Ocalan is the primary leader of Kurdish Separatist movement, who’s been in jail for the last 20 years)
