Poor. Without a doubt. I’m currently driving around in a 12 year old VW shitwagon with two non functional windows and a broken blower because I have to do all the work on it myself. I’m baking 5 loaves of bread a week because the price of bread has gone up to the point where I can no longer justify the expense. I have to fix appliances that should honestly be thrown out, and I have all but given up on eating fish and meat. Being poor is the absolute worst.

That’s rough. I’m sorry to hear that, I’ve been there too. Even as stupid as it feels to think, things will get better. I’m rooting for you. And give yourself some credit too. It’s dope you have the know how and skill to fix your car. Not many ppl do anymore. That’s valuable

Turns out the thing that was wrong with the blower was it’d rusted. Half a can of wd40 and some vigorous cleaning was enough to get it working again. As for the windows, it’s not a quick fix but it is at least free and easy. I just need to reattach the panes to the lifting mechanism. So hopefully the car is fully functional soon.
