Comment on Sony reportedly looking to acquire Kadokawa, owner of ELDEN RING dev FromSoftware

Sony seems to have a pretty workable strategy now.

  1. Want to acquire a company for cheaper.
  2. Make news that they are going to acquire.
  3. Target company’s sales plummet, because gamers don’t want Sony DRM
  4. Cheap company to buy.

So unless FromSoftware releases a statement claiming they won’t be bought by Sony, I’m not buying any more of their stuff.
