Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 1 day agoI went to home depot today. Do you know what I saw? They are selling picnic tables, prebuilt, for $25. I couldn’t believe it. That seems like a really good price. Makes me wish I had a back yard to put one in, so I could go outside once a year and reminisce over that time I got a good deal on a picnic table at home depot.

You could tell that story at every family event for the next 50 years. Even after the picnic table rots away and gets replaced you can tell the story of it’s predecessor and what a good deal it was.
